What is COMPUTEX?
As you may have already gathered, COMPUTEX is the leading global ICT and IoT expo. This annual computer exhibition, is also known as COMPUTEX Taipei, and the Taipei International Information Technology Show.
Starting out as the Taipei Computer Show way back in 1981, the expo has grown in scope and scale in line with global developments, from floppy disks to AI & Robotics. Named COMPUTEX in 1986, the expo began showcasing Taiwanese SMB’s products, rapidly growing into a truly international expo. Today, COMPUTEX is one of the biggest and most important platforms worldwide for computer manufacturers to showcase their goods to the world.
Acer has been an integral part of the COMPUTEX picture since they first exhibited their 8-bit and 16-bit Chinese and English PCs at the expo way back in 1984. Enough looking back into the past, let’s look forward to the expo and find out more key info!
